VALIMET manufactures spherical Aluminum Alloy powders specifically designed for LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion), DED (Direct Energy Deposition) and Cold Spray.
Produced in the USA through inert gas atomization, our powders are engineered to meet demanding particle size distribution, flowability, and quality requirements.
Lot to lot consistency is a key focus for us.
LPBF process often incorporates recycling systems: VALIMET’s “C” grade Aluminum alloy powders have a slightly coarser distribution, with better flow characteristics, sized in the range of -63/+20µm. We guarantee a minimum Hall Flow rate for all of the “C” grades.
High criticality repairs require this powder to be sprayed with Helium on a high-pressure Cold Spray system. VALIMET powders for Cold Spray applications typically have a particle size distribution in the range of -53/+15µm.
