The Process’ Yield
Our process as a whole has 100% yield.
Different applications and customers require different particles size distributions so we tailor our parameters to maximize yield of those fractions, but the off-size cuts can be used in energetic applications.

Gas Recycling
We recapture 99.9% of the inert gas we use for atomization. Compare to most atomizers where none is recaptured therefore 100% of the atomization gas is released to the atmosphere. This is how VALIMET, Inc. has operated for decades.
Extensive Roof Coverage by Solar Panels
Two office buildings, the whole shipping warehouse are covered by solar panels.
Note: Stockton CA, where VALIMET, Inc. is located, is said to have about 260 sunny days a year – roughly 27% above US average.
Water Run Off
We collect all rain runoff to insure none of our powder is released into the water system.
The VALIMET Orchard
In our opinion, sustainable business practices include sustainable wellbeing for the employees.
Our garden surrounding the main office building used to have red woods, pine trees, bamboos and about 15 fruit trees: plums, figures, cherries, almonds, oranges, lemons.
Employees and visitors can find some minutes of solace in the VALIMET Orchard and take home the fruits that grow on our grounds.
Since 2022, we started a major rehauling project. Walking paths, sitting chairs and new entries:
- 42 Oleanders
- About 15 new fruit trees
- 2 Avocados
By the end of 2024 we started the project “Desert Rose” in order to support an endangered species, the Californian bees.
Our rose plants by the main gates provide proteins to the bees throughout the warm season. We identified more spots in the Orchard as optimal sites for a rose garden.
With the help of a local business, ‘the Convivial Rose’, we started filling the voids or, as we say, making the desert bloom.
