VALIMET’s AM line of aluminum alloy powders is specifically designed for additive manufacturing. These powders are tailored to maximize density, improve mechanical properties, and optimize printing performance while meeting stringent OEM specifications.
Aluminum
VALIMET’s standard Aluminum Powders contain a minimum of 99.7% weight Aluminum and range in particle size from 2 microns to 200 microns. These products are certified to hundreds of specifications, including military, aerospace and/or commercial specs for applications like Solid Propellants and in general Energetic Materials.
Aluminum Silicon
VALIMET’s Aluminum Alloy Silicon powders are made from the Eutectic Alloy 4047 (11-13% Si). Typical applications include thermal spray, corrosion and erosion resistant coatings, catalytic reactions, and metal matric composites.
Custom Aluminum Alloys
VALIMET’s Special Alloys Group produces spherical, custom aluminum alloy powders designed for unique applications. Production quantities from 100 pounds to 100 tons are possible for alloys with melting temperatures up to 2500 F.
