Something about engaging in our Community.
A few days before hearing “Class Dismissed”, our VP of Operations Michael Royer has news to share from the Leadership Stockton class of 2024:
“On June 3rd there was a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony opening the newly renovated Aspen Cottage at CHILDREN’S HOME OF STOCKTON.
The Aspen Cottage is part of the Catalyst Program which helps youths 18-24 years old experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
The cottage was empty and in need of renovations and furnishings. Our class raised over $120,000 to and spent the last 6 months turning it back into a new housing unit for the Children’s Home.
The project was the culmination of the 10-month Leadership Stockton program. Sponsors for the renovation are listed on the plaque in the cottage”.
We at VALIMET, Inc. are glad to be part of initiatives that can positively impact the Community we belong to.
Well done, Mike, soon you’re graduated!
