Breaking News: Dustin Hickman, PhD, has joined VALIMET, Inc. on September 3rd, 2024 as Materials & Process Engineering Manager.
Dustin worked at Ames National Laboratory/Iowa State University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the “Powder Group.”
He conducted research on Al, Ca (metallic), and Cu powder to parts in the form of deformation processed metal matrix composites (DMMCs).
Dustin is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), as he served in the Army, touring in Iraq (2009-10) and Afghanistan (2012).
A person with his skills and personality is a great reinforcement for VALIMET, as we keep developing our team.
He follows other colleagues who moved from the Mid-West to California and we believe he’ll soon be spotted on Pacific Coast Highway 1 with his Harley Davidson.
