A splendid dragonfly, a Flame Skimmer (Libellula saturata) certifies the healthy ecosystem of our Orchard.
You need to hear this:
VALIMET, Inc. is located in a Northern section of Big Valley, California.
There are large reserves of water: it flows from the Sierra Nevada peaks, generating the Sacramento-San Joaquin river delta and then enters the San Francisco Bay.
There’s a special type of dragonflies, the Flame Skimmer (orange male, brownish female) that inhabits our land. And here’s the kicker: the presence of Flame Skimmers is an indicator of good quality water and healthy ecosystem.
In other words, our efforts to revamp the VALIMET Orchard, just got a Nature-sent Quality Certification!
Green-thumbed Chris Adam, who spent many Saturdays gardening in the Orchard with his wife, is elated:
“YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!”, he shouted at the innocent, yet skilled, quick-to-action paparazzo who got the shot.
Spherical Aluminum Alloy Powders manufacturing and Entomology – few steps away.
P.S.
The picture was taken with a practically obsolete Samsung S9.
No photoshopping, just a great paparazzo.
