VALIMET, Inc. is located near the Wineries of Lodi CA; many of its employees are car guys & gals. That’s how we became proud sponsor of the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance, taking place on the hills of Ironstone Vineyards.
It’s a charity event, promoted by Lodi-born John & Gail Kautz. Beside growing winegrapes, they started the Concours also as a way to support the Future Farmers of America.
Over 300 vehicles, over 3000 visitors.
More important: it was the 28th edition of an event that has developed a specific identity, rooted in the spirit of Central Valley Wine Region.
Out of the 100 most prestigious Concours in the World, The Ironstone has recently received the “Concours Initiative of the Year” award by Magneto Magazine’s Concours Yearbook:
a race with over 100 years old cars takes place in the middle of the day, with very special interviews to the pilots – a true delight for children of all ages.
See in the pictures how generous and approachable car owners and pilots are with their young fans.
With regards to the American cars parked in front of the main stage, VALIMET’s President Chris Adam, stated: “I’d buy them all”.
Our VP of Sales and Marketing, Luigi Alzati, got on well with the De Tomaso owners and traded tales about its founder, Alejandro De Tomaso: “It’s quite rare to see side-by-side a De Tomaso Mangusta, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and its successor, the Tom Tjaarda’s Pantera. Seven De Tomasos in total. I’d buy them all.”
We would like to thank and congratulate board member Wayne Craig for a tremendous success.
Wayne also has a pivotal role in the organization of the World-famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. He brings to Ironstone his experience, network and passion. What a car guy.
Having such a high profile and enjoyable event is a privilege for the Communities of Central Valley Wine Region.
VALIMET will be glad to be a sponsor for the third time, in 2025.
