Sometimes there is a man. (And his name is Jonathan Meyer)
You may have read the news. Our friend Jon Meyer is passing the baton to the successor he prepared in these past few years, Sebastian Lepa.
Jon was there when Fank Palm was conducting researches on the benefits of Scandium additions to Aluminum Alloys, which eventually lead to the invention of the proprietary grade Scalmalloy®.
For over ten years, APWORKS Additive Manufacturing has been conducting under Jon’s leadership diligent studies and applications tests, presenting overwhelming evidence of the printability and hight strength of Scalmalloy® in key applications like Aeronautics, Aerospace, Motorsport.
This grade is being used across Europe, China, Japan and it’s consumption is expected to hit the Hockey stick in the US, now that domestic sources for Scandium oxides have been identified.
All of that said, I would like to add that our friend Jon Meyer belongs to a rare breed. Qualified, persistent and yet always warming up the meetings he was in.
It’s been a tremendous pleasure to work with you, Jon. The fun was just beginning and this news struck us all.
I’m glad to know that your new adventure will bring you back home.
You can occasionally give a look behind and tell yourself that you and your team made something big happen.
My friend, “so dacht’ ich. Nächstens mehr”!
