Aluminum Powders for Hydrogen Production – Contributes from McGill University

March 7, 2024

Hydrogen Production is an interesting topic we cover on our Literature page. We list the works of Professors Jeff Bergthorson and David L. Frost‘s team at McGill University.

Two more papers, which in a way anticipate the later publications, have just been added. These include co-authors Samuel Goroshin, a lifetime at McGill, Professor Keena Trowell, currently at McMaster University and Jiayi Wang, currently at Siemens Energy.

Why do these papers matter?
Clean energy is vital for the future of the planet, and a cost-effective source of Hydrogen will surely be part of a clean energy future. The simple reaction between Aluminum and water holds promise as a source for this Hydrogen.

The fact that a ‘natural process’ is exploited doesn’t mean that it’s easy to bring it to industrial scale, at cost.
That’s precisely where we need dedicated teams of researchers addressing this topic. Their publications are building blocks – for entrepreneurs and investors to build on.

So, if clean Energy matters, these works matter.
And we’re glad that VALIMET, Inc. powders were tested.
